About the Role:

We're looking for an exceptional operations leader to head our 2,000+ member Madurai production facility one of our largest global engineering and BIM delivery centres.

As Location Head Production, you'll own the performance, profitability, and delivery excellence of the entire campus.

You'll lead functional heads across Production, Quality, Training, Admin, HR, and IT, and act as the senior-most onsite leader for our global infrastructure, data centre, and large commercial projects.

This is a role for someone who can balance elite, global client engagement with a grounded, people-first approach to floor leadership and who sees delivery as a high-performing, optimised engine.

What You'll Own:

- Operational & P&L Leadership: Full accountability for the location's revenue, utilisation, billing efficiency, and overall delivery performance.

- Capacity & Resource Strategy: Drive workforce planning, ramp-up/ramp-down strategies, and cross-functional resource deployment across a large, multi-disciplinary business unit.

- Global Project Delivery: Lead the execution roadmap for high-value, complex international projects and serve as the final escalation point for delivery risk and client commitments.

- Quality & Compliance: Ensure QC processes align with international engineering codes and standards (ASME, API, ISO, statutory building codes).

- Innovation & Upskilling: Champion BIM ecosystems, automation, and AI-driven productivity tools, and partner with Training Heads on forward-looking skill development.

- Client & Growth Partnership: Work with Estimation and Growth teams to review high-value bids and align local capability with pipeline demand, while nurturing strong relationships with premier global clients.

- Inter-Departmental Synergy: Build a collaborative, cohesive culture that resolves operational blockers quickly across all functions.

What We're Looking For:

Experience:

- 18-22 years in engineering design and project management within the AEC / BIM or engineering services space.

- 5+ years in a Center Head, Location Head, Delivery Director, or VP-level role, with multiple senior functional leads reporting to you.

- Proven track record of scaling or running large delivery centres of 1,000 to 2,000+ people.

Education:

- Bachelor's or Master's in Civil, Structural, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.

- MBA (Operations / General Management) or equivalent leadership credential is a strong plus.

Skills & Expertise:

- Deep understanding of end-to-end BIM lifecycles (3D7D), virtual design workflows, and construction automation.

- Strong financial acumen budget management, Capex/Opex planning, billing cycles, and utilisation optimisation.

- Familiarity with enterprise ERP systems, capacity dashboards (BPMS, Prohans, or equivalents), BIM 360, and Navisworks.

- Master-level capability in running large operations floors through structured delegation and clear reporting.

Language:

- Fluent, executive-level English for global stakeholder engagement.

- Native Tamil fluency to connect authentically with the local workforce, drive engagement, and lead with cultural understanding.
