1. Strategic HR Leadership


- Partner with Group CHRO to define and implement HR strategies aligned with business objectives.

- Drive standardization and integration of HR policies and frameworks across all business units.

- Facilitate organizational development initiatives, talent management programs, and succession planning.


2. HR Operations Excellence


- Ensure effective delivery of core HR services across the group: recruitment, payroll, employee relations, compliance, training, and development.

- Monitor and improve HR service delivery metrics (TAT, accuracy, employee satisfaction).

- Drive automation and digitalization of HR processes wherever feasible.


3. Talent Management & Development


- Drive end to end PMS

- Design, develop and implement career progression plan

- Design, develop and implement succession planning

- Collaborate with unit HR Heads to identify, groom, and retain key talent.


4. Policy Governance & Compliance


- Ensure all HR policies are updated, compliant with applicable labor laws, and consistently implemented.

- Drive adherence to statutory and audit requirements across units.

- Act as a key liaison for internal audits, labor inspections, and policy reviews.


5. Culture, Engagement & Communication


- Foster a unified culture aligned with organizational values across geographies and business units.

- Monitor employee engagement levels and implement action plans to enhance morale and retention.

- Establish a strong communication mechanism between corporate HR and unit HR teams.


6. Team Leadership


- Provide functional leadership and guidance to unit HR Heads at the unit level.

- Build capabilities of the HR team through mentoring, coaching, and development plans.

- Promote cross-functional collaboration between business and HR leaders.


Key Skills & Competencies:


- Strong strategic thinking and business partnering skills

- Deep understanding of manufacturing and mining HR landscapes

- Proficiency in HR operations, legal compliance, and workforce analytics

- Leadership presence with the ability to drive large-scale change

- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and conflict resolution skills


Qualification & Experience:


- Postgraduate Degree/Diploma in Human Resources or related field

- 20 + years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in a corporate/group HR leadership role

- Exposure to handling multi-location manufacturing or mining business is preferred
