We are hiring for the position with one of the leading gaming organization Experience: 10-15 years Location: Gurgaon Key Responsibilities: Litigation Management: - Strategize, oversee, and manage litigation matters across multiple states, including contractual disputes, employment issues, tax and regulatory challenges, and intellectual property cases. - Actively engage and coordinate with external counsel to ensure effective representation in courts and tribunals. - Manage risk assessment and mitigation strategies related to ongoing and potential litigation. - Provide legal support for dispute resolution and mediation processes. Player Disputes and Consumer Protection: - Handle player disputes with a focus on resolving issues amicably while protecting the companys interests. - Develop and refine policies, processes, and workflows for addressing player grievances. - Monitor compliance with applicable consumer protection laws and gaming industry standards. Responsible Gaming and Game Integrity: - Lead initiatives to ensure compliance with responsible gaming laws, frameworks, and industry best practices. - Collaborate with product and engineering teams to integrate responsible gaming safeguards into the platform. - Oversee game integrity projects to promote fairness and trust. - Engage with stakeholders to enhance transparency and trust in gaming operations. Regulatory Affairs and Law Enforcement Engagement: - Stay abreast of evolving gaming regulations, legal trends, and policy developments in India and other key markets. - Draft and review policy papers. - Manage law enforcement data requests and build a collaborative process to engage with law enforcement bodies. - Train and educate various law enforcement agencies on best practices in gaming. Leadership and Collaboration: - Provide thought leadership and guidance on legal risks, industry changes, and strategic priorities. - Manage and mentor a team of legal professionals to drive excellence in legal service delivery. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including compliance, operations, policy and public relations, to ensure holistic risk management. - Represent the legal team in senior leadership discussions and decision-making forums. Qualifications and Skills: Essential: - LL.B. from a reputed law school in India. A specialized diploma in cyber laws or IPR laws will be an added advantage. - 12-15 years PQE in handling litigation and regulatory affairs. - Proven track record of managing disputes, litigation, and regulatory matters in the consumer internet industry. - Strong understanding of Indias legal and regulatory framework governing gaming, data integrity, cyber security, and consumer protection.
