
Legal Manager - Litigation
Overview:
Key Responsibilities:
- Advising the company on electricity and regulatory litigation, including strategy, documentation, and overall management of cases.
- Handling commercial litigation, particularly in relation to contracts, supply disputes, and regulatory compliance.
- Engaging with and briefing external counsel; reviewing petitions, submissions, and notices prepared by them and providing detailed inputs.
- Drafting and reviewing commercial agreements such as Power Purchase Agreements, supply contracts, and procurement arrangements - flagging key clauses and risks to senior management.
- Monitoring litigation updates, preparing MIS reports, and keeping leadership informed on critical legal developments.
- Tracking legal and regulatory changes in the electricity and infrastructure space and advising internal stakeholders accordingly.
- Drafting and reviewing legal notices, replies, and written submissions as required in ongoing disputes.
This is a Mumbai-based role and is best suited for candidates with experience in electricity sector litigation and regulatory practice, combined with a sound understanding of commercial legal frameworks.
