Required Skills & Knowledge:

Strong knowledge of:

- Code of Civil Procedure, Code of Criminal Procedure, Indian Penal Code

- Bhartiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), Bhartiya Nagrik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS), Bhartiya Sakshya Adhiniyam (BSA), Companies Act, Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code (IBC), SARFAESI Act, Transfer of Property Act Consumer Laws, Negotiable Instruments Act, Payments & Settlement Act, Arbitration & Mediation laws

- Expertise in lending, mortgage, real estate, securitization, and charge creation.

- Hands-on experience in strategizing legal actions on loan accounts under various laws.

- Strong negotiation, drafting, and litigation skills.

- Excellent written and oral communication abilities.

- Strong interpersonal skills; proven team player and motivator.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

- A proactive legal professional with a strong grasp of litigation and contract management frameworks.

- Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously with precision and accountability.

- Skilled in balancing legal risk with business objectives.

- Confident in stakeholder communication and courtroom representation.

- File civil and criminal complaints against customers, dealers, agencies, etc., in consultation with the Head of Department.

- Attend regular court hearings across various courts.

- Liaise with advocates, consultants, and external legal partners.

- Vet and sign original legal documents, ensuring compliance and accuracy.

- Manage issuance of DPD, LRN, and Section 138 notices.

- Draft and file criminal complaints/FIRs.

- Draft and solidify agreements, contracts, NDAs, and other legal documents to safeguard the companys rights.

- Prepare replies and responses to court actions, notices, and legal correspondence.

- Maintain trackers with updated case status for all company legal matters.

- Prepare MIS reports across all locations.

- Provide clarification on legal language and specifications to internal stakeholders.

- Review exceptions related to property titles, missing documents, laminated papers, and other title checks.

- Ensure annual monitoring, compliance, and RBI requirements pertaining to property and regulatory frameworks.
