Legal Manager We are seeking an experienced Legal Manager to lead and oversee the organizations legal function. The incumbent will be responsible for managing contract negotiations, legal advisory, litigation, intellectual property, regulatory compliance, and providing strategic legal support to various business functions. Roles and Responsibilities: - Lead the drafting, vetting, and negotiation of a wide range of commercial contracts, including those related to immovable property and funding arrangements - Strategically manage legal cases filed by and against the company across various judicial and quasi-judicial forums - Oversee the protection and enforcement of Intellectual Property Rights, including monitoring, filing, and defending trademarks - Respond to legal notices, show-cause notices, and represent the company before relevant statutory and regulatory authorities - Collaborate with external legal counsels and consultants for specialized legal opinions and litigation matters - Ensure effective implementation and monitoring of corporate law compliance (excluding direct/indirect taxes) - Lead internal audits and reviews to monitor compliance with legal obligations and risk mitigation strategies - Develop and conduct legal training sessions for internal stakeholders to enhance legal awareness across departments - Review and enhance Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) from a legal perspective to ensure business process alignment with legal standards Key Skills and Competencies: - Strong expertise in contract law, civil and corporate legal frameworks - Hands-on experience in litigation, regulatory compliance, and intellectual property law - Proven ability to manage legal risk and advise senior management on complex legal issues - Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills - Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-growth environment - Detail-oriented with strong analytical and decision-making capabilities
