Legal Head - Manufacturing Firm - LLM/LLB

Description:

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide strategic legal advice to senior leadership and business units.

- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts, vendor agreements, and distribution deals.

- Ensure compliance with FMCG-specific regulations (e.g., packaging, labeling, advertising, consumer protection).

- Manage litigation, disputes, and coordinate with external counsel.

- Oversee intellectual property matters including trademarks and patents.

- Lead legal due diligence for mergers, acquisitions, and joint ventures.

- Develop and implement legal policies, SOPs, and training programs.

- Monitor regulatory changes and assess business impact.

- Ensure ethical business conduct and support internal investigations.

Qualifications & Experience:

- LLB/LLM from a reputed institution.

- 12+ years of legal experience, preferably with exposure to FMCG or manufacturing sectors.

- Proven leadership in managing legal teams and cross-functional stakeholders.

- Strong understanding of corporate, commercial, and regulatory law.
