Legal Head - Litigation & Commercial - Infrastructure

Role Overview:

A leading infrastructure organisation is looking for an experienced legal professional to lead its circle-level legal function. The role will manage litigation, contracts, regulatory compliance, property and lease matters, site-acquisition due diligence and operational disputes while partnering closely with business leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead civil and commercial litigation, arbitration and dispute-resolution matters.

- Develop case strategy and coordinate with external counsel and law firms.

- Draft and vet notices, pleadings, affidavits, contracts and legal responses.

- Manage property and lease compliance, including registration, stamp duty and documentation.

- Review title deeds, lease agreements and due-diligence reports for site acquisition.

- Advise on telecom regulations, labour laws, taxation, governance and statutory compliance.

- Liaise with DoT, TRAI, municipal authorities, labour departments and other government bodies.

- Resolve disputes involving landlords, partners and regulatory authorities.

- Provide practical, risk-balanced legal advice to senior management.

- Lead the circle legal team and manage external advocates and consultants.

Candidate Profile:

- At least 12 years of relevant legal experience.

- Strong experience in litigation, arbitration, contracts, property matters and regulatory compliance.

- Working knowledge of the Civil Procedure Code, Indian Evidence Act, Companies Act, Arbitration laws, Indian Stamp Act, land and revenue laws, and other regulations.

- Experience handling title due diligence, lease documentation and government authorities.

- Proficiency in English and Marathi is mandatory.
