About Employer: One of the top multi-national corporations in the energy sector. Important note:. - Must have rich experience drafting of contracts. - Must have experience of Litigation and arbitration. - Background of Renewable sector is preferred. Responsibilities: - Providing legal support to the various departments of the organization, in their day-to-day functions internal to the organization as well as in their interaction with external vendors. - Drafting of, as well as negotiation assistance for, documents related to business and project development, construction, and O&M activities of the organization, viz. supply contract, erection & commissioning contract, civil works contract, cooperation & coordination agreement, O&M contract, Balance of Plant contracts, etc. - Contract and claim management support. - Litigation/arbitration management. - Support in overseeing compliance within the organization, to ensure compliance with laws, regulatory requirements, policies, and procedures. Competencies and Skills Required: - Experience 4 to 6 years of post-qualification experience in the renewable energy sector is a must. - Prior work experience of working with a reputed law firm will be an added advantage. Educational Qualification: - LLB or LLM from a reputed law college, with a minimum of 65% in the qualifying examinations. - Legal Expertise should possess in-depth knowledge of relevant laws and regulations in the wind energy sector. - Communication Skills Effective communication, both written and verbal. - Team Collaboration One should be able to collaborate effectively and provide legal support. - Problem-Solving Finding practical and legally sound solutions to disputes and conflicts. - Attention to Detail contracts and legal documents are error-free and legally sound. - Interpersonal Skills Building and maintaining positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders. - Conflict Resolution Legal Counsel should have the ability to mediate and resolve conflicts, whether within the organization or during negotiations and disputes with external parties.
