Legal Counsel - Real Estate

Total Experience: 4 - 9 years

Job Description:

- Draft, review, negotiate, and finalize commercial lease agreements, Leave & License Agreements, lease amendments, renewals, and termination agreements.

- Lead negotiations with landlords, mall developers, property owners, and external legal representatives to secure commercially favorable terms.

- Provide legal support for new store acquisitions, renewals, relocations, and expansion projects.

- Conduct and coordinate legal due diligence, title verification, registrations, and documentation for commercial properties.

- Identify legal and commercial risks within contracts and recommend appropriate mitigation strategies.

- Coordinate with external law firms, consultants, and government authorities for property-related matters.

- Partner closely with Business Development, Projects, Finance, and Operations teams to enable timely store launches.

- Manage disputes arising from lease agreements and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.

- Maintain contract records and ensure adherence to applicable real estate laws and regulatory requirements.
