- Fluent in Marathi, interpreting land documents, 7/12 extract, mutation entries, all documents pertaining to land in district level. - Should have knowledge of Revenue records. Marathi documentation. - Due diligence of lands and structuring of Land acquisitions in Marathi - English - Drafting, negotiating and reviewing documentation (including share subscription agreement, share purchase agreement, shareholders agreement, indemnity agreement etc.) related to the investments, including structuring of and negotiating investor rights, exit options etc. - Vetting of Marathi documents and translating to English - such as Agreement for Sale, Leave & License Agreement, Lease Agreement, Development Agreements, Deed of Conveyance, Tenancy Agreement, Deed of Gift, Will and Codicil, Documents related to Mortgage - Hypothecation - Pledge, Power Of Attorney, Affidavit and other documents pertaining to litigation. - Identify potential improvement areas for the functions; plan and lead effort to implement solutions - Get simultaneously involved in both litigation and non-litigation package teams based on interests and strengths - Take complete ownership for managing documentation and litigation for all the support functions. Apart from this Specific to legal function AS TO COURT : - Knowledge of civil and criminal procedure - knows the laws as to specific Relief Act, Contract Act, Land laws, laws of injunctions, Rera, MOFA, Revenue Laws - Appellate proceedings in Revenue Authorities, District Court and High Court - Judgments of the Courts - Legal acumen to interpret the laws and judgments - Research.
