Role Description:

- This is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru for a Senior Legal Consultant within the FMCG industry.

- The Senior Legal Consultant will provide comprehensive legal support including drafting and reviewing legal documents, addressing legal issues, and offering professional legal advice.

- The role involves ensuring compliance with legal standards, assessing business processes for legal risks, and providing legal assistance to various departments as needed.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB) or Masters degree (LLM) is required.

- Proficiency in Law and Legal Issues critical to the FMCG sector.

- Skills in Legal Document Preparation and contract drafting and evaluation.

- Experience in providing Legal Advice and resolving corporate legal matters.

- Excellent analytical, research, and communication skills.

- Consumer laws.

- Legal Metrology Act.

- Food Safety and Standards.

- Drugs and Cosmetics Act.

- Intellectual property laws.

- Property/rent laws.

- Laws related to health and wellness services.

- Contract laws, Companies Act and other business, commercial, corporate and compliance laws related to manufacturing, trade and business operations.

- Work on domestic and international transactions, agreements and other legal documents (e.

related to manufacturing and trade operations, collaborations, business, funding, financial/ securities offerings).

- Attend meetings and negotiations as required.

- Experience within the FMCG industry is highly beneficial.
