Leader - Client Delivery & Growth

Job Description:

There is an opening with one of my Clients as Leader - Client Delivery & Growth.

Location: Gurgaon, India.

Partnering With: CEO & Founding team.

Experience: 18+ years.

Commitment: Full-time, long-term.

The Honest Pitch:

We're not looking to hire a leader in the usual sense, someone who joins, gets a mandate, and executes against it. We're looking for someone to build this with us. The title on paper will say leader, but the way we want to work with you, and the stake we want you to have in the outcome, is much closer to a co-founder.

Two things will make or break this company over the next few years: whether we deliver so well that clients never want to leave, and whether we grow with the clients we already have instead of only chasing new ones. We want a partner who takes both of those on as their own - not as a job description, but as the thing they're personally accountable for building.

This only works if you're the kind of person who thinks in ownership, not tasks. Someone who's sat at a founder's table before, even if you weren't the one with the title. Someone who wants equity in the outcome - and we mean that literally as well as figuratively.

What You'd Be Building:

Delivery Engine:

- You'd own the client experience end to end - not review it, own it. If a client isn't thrilled, that's your problem before it's anyone else's.

- Right now, a lot of delivery quality depends on individual effort and goodwill. You'd build the structure - playbooks, review rhythms, early-warning signals - that makes great delivery repeatable instead of heroic.

- You'd stay close enough to our biggest accounts that you know how they're really doing, not just what a status report says; and you'd be the one who steps in personally when something's at risk.

- You'd close the loop between what clients tell us and what we actually build - delivery should be feeding product and methodology decisions, not just reporting on them.

- You'd own the commercial reality of delivery too - margins by account, how well we use our coaches and consultants, where money's quietly leaking - because a founder cares about the numbers, not just the relationship.

- You'd build and lead the team that does this work, and set the standard for how we treat clients when things are easy and when they're not.

Growth Engine:

- You'd own growing revenue from the clients we already have, the way a founder owns their pipeline knowing exactly where the next expansion, renewal, or referral is coming from.

- You'd build your own senior relationships with CHROs, business heads - that exist independent of whoever originally signed the deal.

- You'd sit alongside the CEO on new-client pitches, bringing the credibility of someone who actually delivers, not just someone who sells.

- You'd carry a real number for account growth and treat it the way you'd treat your own business's revenue - forecasted, owned, defended.

- You'd keep a founder's eye on the market, where the next offering, segment, or opportunity is, before it's obvious to everyone else.

- You'd represent the company at the table in client conversations and industry rooms, as someone who speaks for the business, not just a function.

What good looks like a year from now:

- Clients stay, and grow with us and you can point to specific accounts where that happened because of what you built.

- Delivery holds up without you personally firefighting every week.

- There's a real, forecastable pipeline of growth from existing clients, not a hope, a number.

- The CEO trusts you with the decisions that matter, not just the ones that are safe to delegate.

Who This Is For:

- 18+ years of experience, with real time spent in client-facing leadership, genuinely both delivery and growth, not one dressed up as the other.

- A career that's touched both HR/people work and commercial/P&L work. Given what we do, that combination isn't a nice-to-have, it's close to the whole point.

- Startup or high-growth experience, ideally where you had real skin in the game - equity, a founding team seat, or something close to it, not just a senior title at a large company.

- Someone who's comfortable owning commercial outcomes personally, revenue, margin, contract terms, not just people and delivery.

- A track record of being trusted by senior clients as a peer, not managed as a vendor.

- The judgment and presence to sit across the table from the CEO as an equal thinking partner, including on the days you disagree.

- Based in Gurgaon, or genuinely ready to move here, this isn't a role you can build remotely.

What's In It for You:

- A real seat at the table - meaningful equity, and a say in decisions most operating roles never get near.

- Two of the highest-leverage parts of the business to call your own, with the freedom to build them your way.

- A partnership with the CEO and founding team - not a reporting line - built on the assumption that you're building this company as much as anyone else is. Please whats app on 9560837700 to discuss.
