Role Overview :

We are seeking a seasoned Lead for Leadership Hiring to spearhead executive talent acquisition strategies within the Chemical and Oil & Gas sectors. Based in Mumbai, this role serves as a strategic partner to the C-suite and business unit heads, acting as the primary architect for identifying and onboarding top-tier leadership talent.

You will navigate complex talent landscapes to secure high-impact leaders who drive operational excellence, innovation, and sustainable growth. By bridging the gap between business vision and human capital, you will directly influence the organization's competitive positioning and long-term success in a high-stakes industrial environment.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop and execute comprehensive executive search strategies to attract high-caliber leadership talent, ensuring a robust pipeline that aligns with the long-term growth objectives of the Chemical and Oil & Gas business units.

- Partner closely with executive stakeholders and board members to define leadership competencies, ensuring that every hire is culturally aligned and capable of navigating the technical complexities of the energy and chemical sectors.

- Manage the end-to-end executive search lifecycle, from initial market mapping and headhunting to complex offer negotiations, to secure top-tier talent in a highly competitive market.

- Cultivate and maintain an exclusive network of industry leaders and subject matter experts, positioning the organization as an employer of choice for senior-level professionals.

- Provide data-driven market intelligence and talent landscape insights to the leadership team, enabling informed decision-making regarding organizational structure and succession planning.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrate deep expertise in executive search methodologies and headhunting techniques specifically within the heavy industry, Chemical, or Oil & Gas sectors.

- Exhibit exceptional stakeholder management and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence senior leadership and navigate complex, high-stakes hiring conversations with confidence and professional maturity.

- Possess a strong academic background, preferably with an MBA or equivalent degree from a premier institute, providing the analytical foundation to understand complex business models.

- Showcase a proven ability to operate in a high-pressure, on-site environment in Mumbai, maintaining agility and focus while managing multiple high-priority leadership mandates simultaneously.

- Communicate with clarity and gravitas, building long-term, trust-based relationships with both internal business leaders and external high-net-worth candidates.
