Job Type: Full-time Department: Asst Manager / Manager - Payroll & HR Operations Location: Mumbai (Andheri East) / Gurgaon-NCR Purpose of the Job : We are looking for a strong operational leader with excellent communication skills and a strong proven background in managing Payroll and HR Operations. The role is a fantastic opportunity for a professional, who wants to raise the bar in area of payroll and set the team up for success. Principal Accountabilities : Payroll - Plan monthly payroll calendar - Undertake accurate and timely processing of payroll including post processing documentation to Finance - Coordinate with and supervise external payroll vendor to ensure error free payroll processing - Drive payment of all monthly, quarterly, and annual statutory compliances (PF, ESIC, PT, LWF, Income Tax, etc.) - Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual reconciliation with Finance & Accounts - Ensures that income tax deductions take place as per the act guidelines, drive submission of requisite tax proofs by employees and ensure filing of Tax reports and generation of Form-16 for all employees - Drive process improvements, take up projects, bring in automations, and undertake changes as per evolving laws - Lead and support annual internal as well as external audits Work Qualifications : - 4-7 Or 8-10 years' experience in similar role in Payroll team of organizations - Optionally an MBA - Strong analytical skills & communication skills (verbal and written) along with active listening - Prior working knowledge of DarwinBox or any other HRMIS would be preferable - Deep knowledge of Income Tax laws and practice, statutory compliances and labor laws
