Lead - SAP Basis Integration

Description:

The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing large-scale SAP landscapes, overseeing integrations across SAP and non-SAP systems, ensuring high availability, performance, and security, and supporting S/4HANA transformation initiatives.

This role requires strong technical leadership, troubleshooting skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead end-to-end SAP Basis administration across ECC, S/4HANA, and HANA environments.

- Design, manage, and support integrations between SAP and non-SAP systems using PI/PO, CPI, IDoc, RFC, and Web Services.

- Ensure system availability, performance tuning, capacity planning, and proactive monitoring of SAP landscapes.

- Support S/4HANA conversion, migration, and transformation projects from a Basis and integration perspective.

- Manage SAP transport management, system refreshes, upgrades, patches, and kernel updates.

- Oversee SAP security coordination, system stability, and compliance requirements.

- Utilize SAP Solution Manager and monitoring tools for system health checks and incident management.

- Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide root cause analysis with preventive recommendations.

- Collaborate with functional, development, infrastructure, and integration teams to ensure seamless operations.

- Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance to junior Basis and integration team members.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

- 12+ years of hands-on experience in SAP Basis with strong exposure to system integrations.

- Extensive experience with SAP ECC, S/4HANA, and SAP HANA Database.

- Strong knowledge of SAP integration technologies: PI/PO, CPI, IDoc, RFC, and Web Services.

- Experience with SAP Solution Manager and SAP system monitoring tools.

- Exposure to SAP BTP integration services is a strong plus.

- Strong troubleshooting, performance tuning, and system optimization skills.

- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience working in large, complex SAP landscapes.

- Prior experience leading Basis or integration teams.

- Exposure to cloud platforms and hybrid SAP environments.
