Lead - Product Designer - B2C Vertical - Internet/Online/eCommerce

Role Overview:

We are looking for a visionary Lead Product Designer to spearhead our B2C design initiatives in Mumbai. In this role, you will be the creative heartbeat of our product team, translating complex user needs into intuitive, high-impact digital experiences. You will work closely with product managers, engineers, and marketing stakeholders to define the visual language and functional architecture of our consumer-facing platforms. By championing a design-first culture, you will directly influence customer retention and conversion metrics, ensuring our products not only look exceptional but solve real-world problems for millions of users.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the end-to-end design lifecycle for new product features, ensuring seamless alignment between user goals and business objectives.

- Conduct rigorous user research and usability testing to uncover actionable insights that inform our product roadmap and design iterations.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate data analytics into design solutions that optimize the customer journey and drive engagement.

- Mentor junior designers and establish high-quality design standards, systems, and documentation to maintain consistency across all consumer touchpoints.

- Partner with product strategy teams to identify market opportunities and iterate on product concepts that provide a competitive edge in the B2C landscape.

Required Skillset:

- Demonstrated expertise in crafting user-centric interfaces and complex interaction flows, backed by a strong portfolio showcasing B2C product success.

- Proven ability to synthesize qualitative user research and quantitative data analytics into clear, actionable design strategies.

- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex design decisions to non-design stakeholders and influence product direction.

- Strong proficiency in Agile methodologies, with the flexibility to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative, and hybrid work environment in Mumbai.

- A deep understanding of modern design tools and prototyping frameworks, paired with the ability to lead design initiatives from conceptualization to final delivery.

- A minimum of 5 - 8 years of professional experience in product design, ideally within a high-growth consumer-facing organization.
