Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Network Security to lead security infrastructure strategy in Mumbai. The role will oversee security appliances, network resilience, threat mitigation, governance, and compliance while collaborating with IT teams, senior stakeholders, and auditors to ensure a secure and highly available network environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Orchestrate the deployment and optimization of WAF, Load Balancers, and VPN solutions to ensure high availability and robust perimeter security for all enterprise applications.

- Manage end-to-end IPS tuning and SIEM integration to reduce false positives and enhance the efficacy of our real-time threat detection capabilities.

- Lead comprehensive IT governance and risk management initiatives to identify vulnerabilities and implement mitigation strategies that protect the firm's operational integrity.

- Conduct regular VAPT exercises and detailed RCA for security incidents to continuously improve our defensive posture and minimize future risk exposure.

- Oversee internal and external audit processes, ensuring all network security controls meet stringent regulatory and compliance requirements.

Required Skillset:

- Demonstrated expertise in managing complex network security architectures, with a deep understanding of firewall management, traffic inspection, and secure remote access protocols.

- Proven ability to translate technical security metrics into actionable insights for senior leadership, fostering a culture of transparency and proactive risk awareness.

- Strong analytical mindset for performing root cause analysis and implementing long-term technical solutions that prevent recurring security bottlenecks.

- Exceptional interpersonal skills to lead diverse technical teams and manage relationships with external vendors and auditors effectively.

- A solid academic foundation in Computer Science or Information Technology, complemented by professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or equivalent.

- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, hybrid work environment in Mumbai, maintaining high standards of performance and operational excellence under pressure.
