We're Hiring: Lead - Legal & Compliance APAC (Purchasing)

Location: Bangalore | Experience: 1520 years

Domnic Lewis is partnering with a global organization to identify a seasoned legal leader to head Legal & Compliance matters for Purchasing (GTP) across the APAC region.

Role Objective:

To lead and manage all legal and compliance aspects tied to purchasing in APAC, while ensuring robust risk management and alignment with global compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities:

- Be the go-to legal/compliance advisor for APAC Purchasing

- Draft, review & negotiate vendor and procurement contracts

- Implement compliance programs and frameworks

- Drive legal investigations & represent in litigation/arbitration if needed

- Mentor and lead regional legal/compliance professionals

- Collaborate with business leaders to provide strategic legal guidance

Ideal Candidate:

- 15+ years PQE in corporate law, compliance & procurement contracts

- Regional experience in APAC (Africa & Middle East exposure a plus)

- Deep understanding of European compliance standards

- Excellent legal communication in English; regional language skills are a bonus

- Ethical, proactive, and team-oriented
