
1. Role Purpose:
The Head - India Shared Services will establish, lead, and manage the India HUB Services Pvt. Ltd., Company's shared services center supporting TUSA, TCAN, TINDIA, and other future SBUs. This role is responsible for building a high-performance shared services organization that delivers operational excellence in finance, e-commerce operations, IT support, data analytics, sourcing coordination, and administrative functions. The role requires strategic oversight, governance control, and hands-on execution of the HUB's day-to-day operations while ensuring service quality, cost efficiency, and compliance with Company's Group standards and Indian regulations.
2. Key Responsibilities:
A. Strategic Leadership
- Establish and operationalize the India HUB Services Pvt. Ltd. as an independent shared services entity.
- Develop and execute the operational strategy aligned with Company's global business objectives.
- Define the service delivery model, governance structure, and functional roadmap for the HUB.
- Build and lead cross-functional teams across Finance, E-commerce, IT, and Admin.
- Identify opportunities for process optimization, automation, and digital enablement.
B. Operations Management
- Oversee end-to-end service delivery to SBUs (TUSA, TCAN, TINDIA) ensuring adherence to SLAs and KPIs.
- Implement process controls and performance metrics for each function (Finance, E-commerce, IT, etc.).
- Manage resource allocation, workload balancing, and service prioritization across multiple time zones.
- Drive standardization of procedures, ERP harmonization, and data integrity across entities.
- Coordinate transition of roles and processes from TINDIA to India HUB smoothly.
C. Financial Management
- Develop the annual operating budget for the HUB.
- Oversee cost control, pricing, and inter-company billing as per Transfer Pricing (TP) compliance.
- Ensure accuracy in cost allocation, markups, and documentation in line with audit standards.
- Manage statutory compliance - accounting, taxation, TDS, GST, and company filings.
D. Governance & Compliance
- Establish internal governance processes, dashboards, and reporting mechanisms to HQ.
- Ensure legal, audit, and TP documentation compliance with Indian and international regulations.
- Implement a risk management and business continuity plan for critical shared services operations.
- Liaise with auditors, tax advisors, and external consultants as needed.
- Maintain confidentiality and data protection standards consistent with global policy.
E. Stakeholder Management
- Act as the single point of contact between India HUB and global Company's entities.
- Build strong relationships with SBU heads (TUSA, TCAN, TINDIA) and global functional leads.
- Lead quarterly governance reviews and performance discussions with HQ and SBU stakeholders.
- Ensure continuous alignment between business needs and shared service capabilities.
F. People Leadership
- Build and lead a high-performing, cross-functional team in India.
- Drive a performance-driven culture emphasizing accountability, ownership, and innovation.
- Oversee training, skill development, and career planning for HUB team members.
- Foster collaboration, cultural alignment, and engagement across global teams.
3. Key Deliverables
- Successful establishment and operational go-live of India HUB Services Pvt. Ltd.
- Achievement of agreed SLAs and cost-to-serve benchmarks.
- Implementation of standard operating procedures (SOPs) and process documentation.
- Annual audit and TP compliance with no significant observations.
- Employee retention, engagement, and productivity within HUB team.
4. Qualifications & Experience:
Criteria Requirements:
Education MCOM / MBA (Finance / Operations) / Equivalent international degree.
- Experience Minimum 7+ years of experience in Shared Services / Business Process Outsourcing (BPO / KPO). At least 5 years in a leadership role managing multi-country or global service delivery.
- Industry Background Experience in consumer goods, manufacturing, or global shared services preferred.
- Behavioral Skills Strategic thinking, stakeholder management, cross-cultural leadership, operational excellence, and process transformation.
5. Reporting & Governance
Reports To: CFO- USA
- Functional Interaction: SBU Heads
- Supervises: Function Heads (Finance, E-commerce, IT, Admin, QC)
- Governance: Quarterly performance review with Global HQ Steering Committee
6. Role Summary:
The Head - India Shared Services will serve as the founding leader and operational architect of Company's global service hub in India. This role blends strategic vision with operational excellence, ensuring the HUB delivers measurable value, compliance, and scalability to Company's global businesses.
