Role Overview:

The HR BU Head will serve as a strategic partner to the business leadership team, driving the HR agenda across three manufacturing plants. The role requires a strong blend of strategic HR leadership, industrial relations expertise, and operational excellence to ensure alignment of people practices with business goals.

The incumbent will lead all aspects of the people function including talent acquisition, capability building, performance management, employee engagement, and IR/ER management, ensuring a high-performance and compliant work environment across sites.

Key Responsibilities:

- Partner with business leadership and plant heads to shape and deliver the HR strategy for the division.

- Lead and mentor plant HR teams to ensure consistent implementation of HR policies and processes across units.

- Drive harmonious industrial relations, proactively managing union negotiations, settlements, and statutory compliance.

- Oversee talent acquisition, manpower planning, and succession planning for key roles.

- Implement robust performance management, reward, and recognition frameworks aligned to productivity and business metrics.

- Lead capability development initiatives with a focus on building future-ready technical and behavioural competencies.

- Strengthen engagement and retention practices, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and safety.

- Partner with the corporate HR COEs (L&D, C&B, HR Operations) to ensure seamless - execution of enterprise-wide initiatives.

- Drive HR digitization and data-led decision-making across sites.

- Strategic HR & Business Partnership: Aligns people strategy with business goals; partners effectively with CHRO, COO, and Plant Leadership.

- Industrial Relations Excellence: Strong command of labor laws, union management, and maintaining a harmonious IR climate across plants.

- Leadership & Team Development: Builds, mentors, and empowers HR teams to deliver consistent results across multiple sites.

- Change & Transformation Orientation: Drives HR process standardization, capability building, and digital HR initiatives.

- Analytical & Decision-Making Ability: Uses data and insights to improve workforce productivity, engagement, and retention.

Stakeholder Engagement:

- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including Senior Management, Leadership team, Department heads, to understand their needs and align HR Operations and C&B strategies accordingly

- Build and maintain effective relationships with external partners, vendors, and industry peers to stay abreast of HR best practices and trends
