
Position :- Lead - HR
Location :- Andheri - Mumbai
Role:- To lead and manage the Human Resources function for the organization, ensuring alignment of people strategy with business goals. The role involves overseeing talent acquisition, performance management, compensation & benefits, learning & development, employee engagement, and statutory compliance in line with SEBI and industry norms.
Key Responsibilities:-
1. Strategic HR & Business Partnership
- Partner with business heads and leadership team to drive organizational goals through effective HR strategy.
- Develop and implement HR policies and processes aligned to AMC and regulatory requirements.
- Support leadership in workforce planning and talent pipeline creation.
2. Talent Acquisition & Onboarding
- Drive end-to-end recruitment for all business lines (Investment, Sales, Operations, Compliance, etc.).
- Build talent sourcing strategies, including campus hiring and industry mapping.
- Oversee onboarding, induction, and integration programs to ensure smooth transition of new hires.
3. Performance Management
- Manage annual goal setting and performance appraisal processes.
- Support line managers with feedback discussions and performance improvement plans.
- Facilitate calibration sessions and ensure transparent evaluation practices.
4. Compensation & Benefits
- Work with management and finance on compensation benchmarking, salary structuring, and variable pay design.
- Manage annual increment and incentive cycles in line with business performance and market competitiveness.
- Oversee payroll accuracy and statutory benefits administration.
5. Learning & Development
- Identify skill gaps and implement learning interventions (technical, behavioural, and leadership).
- Partner with external agencies for specialized AMC-specific programs (investment research, compliance, etc.).
- Track training effectiveness and regulatory learning compliance (e.g., AMFI / SEBI-mandated programs).
6. Employee Engagement & Culture
- Foster an open, performance-driven, and compliant workplace culture.
- Lead engagement surveys, feedback analysis, and action planning.
- Drive CSR, diversity, and wellness initiatives.
7. HR Operations & Compliance
- Maintain employee records, HRMS data accuracy, and statutory registers.
- Ensure compliance with SEBI, AMFI, POSH, PF, ESIC, LWF, Shops & Establishment, and other applicable laws.
- Liaise with auditors and regulators on HR-related audits and inspections.

- Strong understanding of AMC / BFSI HR practices and regulatory environment.
- Excellent stakeholder management and interpersonal skills.
- Analytical and data-driven decision-making ability.
- Proficient in HR systems, Excel, and MIS reporting.
- Integrity, confidentiality, and sound judgment in people matters
Qualification:-
- MBA / PGDM in Human Resources or equivalent from a reputed institute.
- Minimum 8-12yrs of experience in Financial Service / Asset Management / BFSI.
