Hiring for Finance Lead
Key Responsibilities Strategic & Financial Leadership:
- Provide strategic financial leadership and insights to support business growth and profitability.
- Partner with the CEO and leadership team on FPNA, and expansion initiatives.
- Lead long-term financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
Financial Management & Reporting:
- Oversee preparation and presentation of financial statements in compliance with IFRS, and statutory requirements.
- Ensure accurate revenue recognition in line with IT consulting/contracting norms (e.g., fixed-price, T&M, milestone-based contracts).
- Drive effective working capital management, cash flow planning, and treasury operations (including Accounts receivables and Accounts payables)
- Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual closings with strict adherence to timelines.
Contracts & Commercials:
- Review, structure, and negotiate client and vendor contracts to safeguard commercial, legal, and tax positions.
- Ensure financial implications of contractual terms are clearly assessed and reported.
Taxation & Compliance:
- Oversee Direct and Indirect Taxation (Income Tax, GST, where applicable).
- Lead Transfer Pricing strategy, documentation, and compliance for domestic and international operations.
- Ensure timely statutory filings, audits, and regulatory compliances with Indian and international authorities.
- Liaise with auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory bodies on financial matters.
Risk & Governance:
- Establish robust internal controls, compliance frameworks, and risk management policies.
- Drive corporate governance standards and ethical business practices for Procurement activities as well as finance activities.
- Supervise and Direct Procurement Function of Organization.
- Identify financial and operational risks and implement mitigation measures
Desired Skills:
- Expertise in SAP in daily work, implementation knowledge is optional / desirable.
- Proven experience in Finance Function (As Lead / Manager Finance / Lead Finance of Mid-Sized Organization).
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage function independently.
- Excellent communication skills in both English.
- Experience in managing business stakeholders and preparing MIS/ Dashboards for BOD.
Qualifications:
- Chartered Accountant (CA) mandatory.
- 10-12 Years (Strictly) of senior financial leadership experience, preferably in IT services, consulting, or technology sectors. (CFO-1, CFO-2, Lead Finance at Organization Level shall be preferred).
- Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, and scaling operations in a growth-stage or mid-size company.
- 12-15 years of progressive experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
