Real Estate Lawyer

We are seeking a Real Estate Lawyer to join our team, focusing on a wide range of legal matters pertaining to real estate. The ideal candidate will be from the LLB 2015 to 2022 batch, with a solid understanding of key real estate and civil laws. This role is available in multiple locations: Mumbai, Pune, Bangalore, and Chennai.

Key Responsibilities:

- Handle legal matters related to the Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Act, 2016 (RERA), including advising on compliance, drafting RERA-specific documents, and representing the firm's clients before RERA authorities.

- Advise and provide legal opinions on matters governed by the Transfer of Property Act, 1882, including sales, leases, mortgages, and gifts of property.

- Review, draft, and negotiate various legal agreements, including agreements for sale, development agreements, lease deeds, and other property-related contracts, ensuring full compliance with the Indian Contract Act, 1872.

- Manage and represent clients in disputes under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, particularly those related to real estate projects and consumer grievances against builders or developers.

- Stay updated on and provide guidance regarding specific State Rules and Regulations concerning land and property, ensuring all legal advice and documentation are in accordance with local laws in the respective states (Maharashtra, Karnataka, and Tamil Nadu).

- Conduct thorough legal due diligence on real estate projects, including title searches, encumbrance checks, and reviewing land records to identify potential risks.

- Prepare and file legal documents, petitions, and other court submissions with precision and attention to detail.

Requirements:

Educational Qualification: Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree.

Batch: 2015 to 2022.

Experience: Relevant experience in real estate law is preferred.

Legal Knowledge: Strong working knowledge of the Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Act, 2016, Transfer of Property Act, 1882, Indian Contract Act, 1872, and the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

Skills: Excellent research, analytical, and communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Location: Willingness to work in either Mumbai, Pune, Bangalore, or Chennai.
