Education Requirements: Postgraduate (CA / MBA a plus) - Years of experience: 15-20+ years of land acquisition - Work Experience Requirements : - Experience in diverse roles for land acquisition in real estate, energy, power, infrastructure, manufacturing sector, or other relevant industries. - Ideal candidate to have cumulative sourcing of 3-5k acres of land across the country in multiple regions. - Additional experience in operations, project management, and strategy necessary. - Relevant experience in warehousing is preferred - Land Experience Requirements: Strong understanding of land matters and laws incl. ownership, title checks, encumbrances, land use restrictions, approvals, licenses, agreements, taxation, compliance, legal etc. to make informed investment decisions, manage risks, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations 5. This position involves owning the land acquisition process, driving proprietary deals and ensuring compliance with applicable land-related laws and regulations. - Key responsibilities include developing a robust land acquisition strategy, building a competent on-ground team, and sourcing proprietary intelligence to maintain a robust pipeline across regions. The State Land and Corporate Affairs Head liaises with revenue officials, collaborates with Design and Business Development teams, and facilitates seamless deal qualification. They oversee the acquisition and closure process, maintaining accurate land records and coordinating with consultants and authorities for necessary clearances.
