
Job Title: HR Business Partner (HRBP) - Retail
Location: Mumbai (Worli)
Job Summary:
We are looking for a proactive HR Business Partner to support our retail operations. The role involves working closely with store teams and business leaders to drive people initiatives, improve employee engagement, and ensure smooth HR operations across retail locations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with retail managers to understand business needs and provide HR support
- Manage end-to-end employee lifecycle (hiring, onboarding, performance, exits)
- Drive recruitment for store roles and ensure timely closures
- Handle employee relations, queries, and conflict resolution
- Monitor attendance, attrition, and workforce planning
- Support performance management and goal-setting processes
- Ensure HR policies and compliance are followed across stores
- Conduct store visits and connect with employees regularly
- Plan and execute engagement activities for retail teams
- Work on training and development initiatives for store staff
Requirements:
- 3-6 years of HR experience, preferably in retail or multi-location setup
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle multiple stores and stakeholders
- Good problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
- Willingness to travel to store locations
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in bulk hiring and frontline workforce management
- Strong understanding of labor laws and HR compliance
- Data-driven mindset with basic HR analytics knowledge
