Job description:
Essential Duties And Responsibilities:
- Manage financial planning, forecasting, annual operation plan, capital expenditure and reporting
- Partner with business and operation heads and provide financial analysis data for business plans , strategies and decision-making
- Analyze financial and operational results and highlight areas of concerns for improvement
- Review and track budget/forecast achievements
- Perform project analysis and track the execution between Budget Vs Spent
- Act as liaison between multiple departments
- Review the appropriateness of internal controls and risk management
- Tax planning aligned to Annual forecast and Qrtly results
- Set up SOP's with Approval matrix to have efficient and robust financial control system
- Ensure cash flow management is monitored on a daily basis and to have- required working capital
- Liaison with lender/bank for any Term loan or working capital both fund and non fund based
- Ensure all applicable government subsidies and benefits are availed
- Ensure all applicable compliances are met before due dates
- Liaison with Statutory and Internal Auditors
- Ensure adequate Insurance policies applicable are in place and settle the claim if any with Insurance companies
- Ensure that cash cycle days are minimized and improved in an ongoing basis
- Ensure that monthly, quarterly and annual reports are submitted within deadlines on a timely and accurate basis
- Manage coach, supervise and ensure staffs maintain high standard professionalism and attitude to their jobs
- Ensure staff's awareness on plant and corporate policies
- Ensure KRA's for the finance team and their annual appraisal
- Perform any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Management
Job Qualifications Knowledge Requirement:
- Must have solid experience in Manufacturing finance, plant accounting and cost control,familiar with accounting standards
- Have commercial acumen combined with risk awareness
- Be able to structure and analyze a great and complex amount of data
- Be able to achieve results with constantly changing priorities
- Have a excellent communication and problem solving skills
- Have a ERP knowledge
- Good at cost analysis, finance reporting and internal control
- Mature and capable to work in factory and corporate environments
- Comfortable in high pressure working
- Proficiency in use of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint) and other tools to efficiently compile the reports
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Management
- Qualified CA,CMA with min 10-12 years of experience
- Solid finance/accounting working experience in manufacturing site for more than 7 years with at least 4-5 years in managerial position
- Experience in Steel plant shall be an added advantage
