Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic, tech-savvy, and result-oriented State Manager to lead our operations in Chhattisgarh. The ideal candidate will be responsible for state-level business strategy, operational leadership, sales optimization, and partner ecosystem expansion. This role demands a strategic thinker with strong analytical acumen, digital fluency, and a deep understanding of rural markets and agri-mechanization trends.

Key Responsibilities:

State Strategy & Execution:

- Formulate and implement state-level business plans aligned with national sales targets and organizational goals.

Sales & Channel Development:

- Drive top-line growth by managing B2B and B2C sales operations across dealer, distributor, and retail channels. Ensure effective territory planning and pipeline visibility using CRM tools.

Team Leadership:

- Recruit, mentor, and manage a high-performing team of Territory Managers, Sales Officers, and Field Executives. Set KPIs, monitor performance, and build a culture of accountability and innovation.

Market Intelligence:

- Analyze regional market trends, customer insights, and competitor activity. Translate insights into actionable go-to-market strategies, product positioning, and promotional campaigns.

Customer & Dealer Engagement:

- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders including farmers, dealers, cooperatives, and government bodies. Lead customer outreach programs, product demos, and after-sales initiatives.

Operations & Compliance:

- Oversee supply chain coordination, inventory planning, logistics, and documentation. Ensure adherence to statutory regulations, commercial policies, and corporate governance standards.

Tech-Driven Reporting:

- Leverage data analytics platforms and ERP systems for real-time tracking of sales metrics, financial reporting, and business intelligence. Generate dashboards for regional performance reviews and forecasting.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

- Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Agriculture, or Marketing. MBA is preferred.

- 8+ years of experience in sales, distribution, or business operations, preferably in the agricultural equipment, agribusiness, or rural technology sectors.

- Demonstrated success in building and scaling regional operations and sales teams.

- Strong command of digital tools (CRM, ERP, MS Power BI, Tableau, Excel) and data-driven decision-making.

- Excellent leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.

- Deep understanding of dealer networks, and the agri-mechanization ecosystem.
