Role Overview
As a Sales Development Representative at kim.cc, you will play a key role in building and driving the sales pipeline for our AI + Human hybrid support platform tailored for ecommerce and D2C brands. This role is focused on engaging with decision-makers across the North American market, helping them improve customer support outcomes with scalable, intelligent solutions.
This is a Bangalore-based position. Candidates must be either located in Bangalore or willing to relocate, with a mandatory 5 days/week in-office presence. You must also be willing to work US business hours to support outreach and meetings.
Key Responsibilities
- Understand the ecommerce and D2C landscape in North America and identify how kim.cc can solve their customer support challenges.
- Partner with Account Executives to define target accounts and create tailored outreach strategies using a blend of Account-Based Marketing (ABM) and high-touch outbound tactics.
- Conduct thorough research to identify key decision-makers and customer pain points across mid-market and growth-stage companies.
- Run outbound campaigns across email, LinkedIn, and phone to generate and qualify opportunities for the sales team.
- Own top-of-funnel engagement and ensure high-quality lead qualification aligned with kim.cc's Ideal Customer Profile (ICP).
- Track outreach activities and pipeline health using prospecting platforms.
- Monitor campaign effectiveness and adjust messaging and targeting as needed.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, product, and sales to fine-tune messaging and share feedback from the market.
Required Experience & Qualifications
- 2-4 years of SDR or business development experience in a B2B SaaS environment, preferably targeting North American markets.
- Background in CX, Customer Service, ecommerce or AI-powered platforms is a plus.
- Proven ability to conduct cold outreach and build meaningful conversations with senior decision-makers.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills. Must be able to clearly articulate value propositions.
- Curious, coachable, and driven. Someone who takes ownership of learning and hitting targets.
- Comfortable working North America time zone hours (EST)
- Must be based in Bangalore with availability to work from the office 5 days/week.
