About the Role:
Katyayani Organics is seeking a passionate and experienced Team Coach to lead and expand our agronomy-focused sales team.
This is a high-impact leadership role for someone who blends strong agronomic knowledge with proven sales capabilities and a team-first mindset.
Key Responsibilities.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to exceed the set revenue targets.
- Lead, mentor, and upskill the sales team for high performance and career growth.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify business opportunities.
- Set and manage sales KPIs; track performance against goals.
- Educate the team on product technicalities (seeds, fertilizers, crop protection).
- Deliver accurate sales forecasts, budgets, and regular reports to senior management.
- Drive the team to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Excellent command of English and Hindi.
- Bonus if you know regional languages like Marathi, Bengali, Tamil, Telugu, etc.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's in Agronomy, Agriculture, or Crop Science.
- 8-12 years of experience in Agri-sales.
Skills & Attributes.
- In-depth knowledge of agricultural practices and solutions.
- Strong leadership and team-building capabilities.
- Proven track record of achieving or surpassing sales targets.
- Excellent communication, negotiation & presentation skills.
- Customer-focused, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in CRM tools and sales analytics.
- Ability to interpret soil health and crop data effectively.
