DESCRIPTION:

The VP - IT will be responsible for setting the organization's digital vision and defining an IT strategy that directly supports business growth. This includes developing and executing a comprehensive digital transformation roadmap, promoting innovation and agility across the enterprise, and identifying opportunities to leverage emerging technologies such as AI, ML, Automation, and IoT. The role requires providing strategic guidance to the Directors and Board on technology trends, risks, and investments, ensuring the company remains competitive and future ready.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Strategic Leadership and Digital Transformation:

- Develop and share a clear IT strategy and digital transformation plan that aligns with the business.

- Promote a culture of innovation, agility, and digital knowledge throughout the organization.

- Identify and assess new technologies like AI, ML, Automation, and IoT to address complex business challenges and create opportunities.

- Serve as a trusted advisor to the Directors and Board regarding technology trends, risks, and investments.

Technology Operations and Infrastructure:

- Ensure the reliability, security, and scalability of the IT infrastructure, including manufacturing systems, data centers, and networks.

- Validate and maintain high-quality infrastructure that meets current and future business needs.

- Manage relationships with vendors and technology partners.

Business Solutions and Application Management:

- Lead the strategy, implementation, and improvement of core enterprise systems, with strong knowledge in SAP financial modules (e.g., FI, CO, CO-PA, S/4HANA), integrated supply chain solutions.

- Encourage the use of sales technologies (e.g., SFA and DMS solutions) to improve market execution and customer engagement.

- Initiate projects in AI, ML, and automation (RPA) to enhance manufacturing, supply chain, sales, and marketing tasks.

- Ensure the best of technology solutions are implemented and maintained for seamless business operations and Customer experience.

- Data Analytics support for Business decisions.

- Oversee the complete management of the company's digital presence, including websites, e commerce platforms, and mobile apps. Ensure a smooth, secure, and engaging customer experience that fits with the brand strategy.

- Make sure all technology solutions are delivered on time, within budget, and meet business needs.

Cyber Security & Compliance:

- Oversee cybersecurity, risk management, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning.

Team Leadership and Governance:

- Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing IT team, encouraging talent development and a results-focused culture.

- Establish and enforce IT governance frameworks, policies, and procedures.

- Develop and manage the IT budget, ensuring efficient use of resources and demonstrating returns on technology investments.

SPECIFICATIONS:

Experience:

- 15 years of progressive experience in IT, (e.g., VP, Director, Head of IT) in a complex, multi-site manufacturing environment. Experience in the FMCG/CPG industry is required.

- Proven, hands-on experience with SAP and detailed functional knowledge of SAP Financials is essential.

- Demonstrated success in leading large digital transformation projects from start to finish.

Educational Qualification:

- A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics and Communication, or a related field. An MBA or other advanced degree is a strong plus.

Certification If any :
