Regional Sales Manager South (SMB)

Location: Bangalore or Chennai | Notice Period: 45 days max

Key Responsibilities:

- Account Management & Growth: Manage and grow existing SMB accounts within the South India region, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.

- Relationship Building: Build strong, lasting relationships with key stakeholders, including R&D heads, design teams, and production teams, within client organizations.

- Business Development: Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities, expanding Kaizenat Technology's market presence in South India.

- Sales Cycle Management: Drive the entire sales cycle from lead generation to closure, including conducting product demonstrations in collaboration with technical teams.

- Target Achievement: Consistently achieve and exceed regional sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).

- Market Insight: Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to inform sales strategies and product positioning.

- Reporting: Provide regular and accurate sales forecasts, reports, and market feedback to management.

Required Skills & Experience

- Sales Experience: 5 - 12 years of proven sales experience specifically within the technical or engineering software industry.

- Software Proficiency: Hands-on experience and familiarity with leading CAE/CAD/PLM software platforms such as ANSYS, Altair, COMSOL, Siemens NX, Dassault Syst- mes (SOLIDWORKS, CATIA), PTC Creo, or similar.

- Domain Understanding: Good understanding of Computer-Aided Engineering (CAE), Computer-Aided Design (CAD), and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) workflows and their application in various industries.

- Relationship Management: Strong relationship-building skills with a proven ability to develop and maintain long-term client partnerships.

- CRM Proficiency: Proficient in using CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) for managing sales pipelines, tracking interactions, and reporting.

- Communication & Presentation: Excellent verbal communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences.

- Self-Driven: Highly motivated, results-oriented, and capable of working independently to achieve sales objectives.

Education Background:

- Master's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Aerospace, Civil, Electrical, etc.), Computer Science, or a related technical field.

- A Master's degree or an MBA is a plus.
