Location: Navrangpura, Ahmedabad
Reporting To: Director / Managing Director
Job Summary:
We are seeking a result-oriented Sales Manager to lead and scale our sales operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving revenue growth, managing the sales team, building strong client relationships, and executing sales strategies aligned with company objectives. This role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and hands-on execution.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy & Revenue Growth:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets
- Identify new business opportunities, markets, and key accounts
- Drive B2B sales for software solutions (HMS / ERP / SaaS / IT products)
- Prepare sales forecasts, pipelines, and performance reports
Team Management & Leadership:
- Recruit, train, mentor, and manage the sales team (Executives/BDEs)
- Set clear targets, KPIs, and accountability metrics
- Conduct regular sales reviews, performance evaluations, and coaching sessions
- Ensure discipline, professionalism, and ethical sales practices
Client & Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders
- Handle key enterprise or high-value clients personally
- Lead negotiations, pricing discussions, and deal closures
- Ensure smooth handover to implementation/support teams
Marketing & Coordination:
- Work closely with marketing teams on campaigns, lead generation, and branding initiatives
- Provide market feedback for product improvements and positioning
- Participate in demos, presentations, exhibitions, and client meetings
Process & Reporting:
- Maintain accurate CRM data and sales documentation
- Monitor competition, pricing trends, and market dynamics
- Ensure compliance with company policies and sales processes
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Mandatory:
- Proven experience as a Sales Manager (IT / Software / SaaS preferred)
- Strong leadership and team-handling skills
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities
- Strong understanding of B2B sales cycles
- Target-driven mindset with analytical thinking
Preferred:
- Experience in Healthcare IT, ERP, HMS, or SaaS products
- Familiarity with CRM tools (Zoho, HubSpot, Salesforce, etc.)
- Ability to work in a fast-growing startup environment
- Willingness to travel when required
Experience & Education:
- Experience: 4-8 years in sales, with at least 1-2 years in a managerial role
- Education: Graduate / MBA in Sales, Marketing, or Business Management (preferred)
