About the Role:

We are hiring an Analyst / Junior Associate to join the Business Management function supporting the Investment Banking Division (IBD). This role acts as a strategic and operational partner to the IB leadership team and the Staffer, ensuring smooth functioning of the IB franchise through high-quality reporting, analytics, resource planning, and coordination.

This is a great opportunity for professionals with IB domain exposure who enjoy stakeholder management, reporting, governance and business operations rather than pure financial modelling.

Key Responsibilities:

- Support the Staffer with analyst staffing, utilization tracking & workload planning

- Handle weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting for the IB Division

- Deep understanding of Capital Market Products

- Manage cost tracking, budgeting, and headcount planning

- Work closely with Japan Desk, IB leadership & corporate functions

- Assist with governance, MI reporting, and business performance tracking

- Coordinate with junior analysts and monitor KRAs (no direct reporting)

- Ensure seamless day-to-day operations of the Investment Banking Division

Mandatory Skills:

- Excellent communication skills written & verbal

- Strong stakeholder management across senior bankers & corporate teams

- Business Management / COO Office experience in IB or Financial Services

- Advanced reporting & MIS skills (weekly/monthly/quarterly dashboards)

- Experience with cost management, annual budgeting & headcount planning

- Strong PowerPoint, Excel, and presentation capabilities

- Ability to work with high accuracy, speed, and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications:

- MBA (Finance) / CA / CFA / Postgraduate in Finance or similar

- Strong pedigree / experience in global IB or IB COO/BM teams preferred
