Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and forward- thinking VP/ Director - Finance to lead our financial operations and drive strategic impact. The ideal candidate will have deep subject matter expertise in finance and accounting, with experience or exposure in the gaming or digital entertainment sector being a strong advantage.

This high- impact role calls for a proactive leader to oversee financial controllership, ensure regulatory compliance, and partner with cross- functional teams to drive business performance and scalable growth.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the annual budgeting process, long- range strategic financial planning, and rolling forecasts across business units and APAC countries.

- Support FP&A activities by assisting in budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and management reporting to enable informed financial decision- making.

- Partner with FP&A and business teams to analyze financial performance, track KPIs, and provide insights to improve planning accuracy and cost control.

- Drive scenario models for new business units and countries for short and long term period.

- Provide business partnership for commercial decision- making to business unit heads and financial input into M&A and other partnership deals.

- Deliver detailed P&L analysis, and analyze Operational KPIs in line with overall strategy.

- Lead end- to- end controllership functions, including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Treasury, General Ledger, and Financial Reporting.

- Be part of the APAC team and help in setting up/integrating business across countries as the Flutter business expands. Focus on the controllership and business finance side.

- Partner with business stakeholders for commercial controlling and financial decision support.

- Drive timely and accurate month- end, quarter- end, and year- end closures in line with statutory requirements and US GAAP reporting for the Flutter Group.

- Manage multiple entities, including their financial consolidation.

- Handle statutory audits with Big 4 firms; ensure accurate tax filings, transfer pricing, and regulatory compliance across jurisdictions.

- Deliver actionable financial insights through close collaboration with business leaders.

- Strengthen internal controls, governance frameworks, and SOPs. Manage internal audits and ICOFR compliance with Big 5 firms.

- Lead cost optimisation, ROI analysis for marketing initiatives, product launches, and strategic investments.

- Champion finance transformation projects, including systems and team capability enhancements.

- Collaborate with product and tech teams on monetization models and in- game financial analytics.

- Oversee treasury operations, fund flow, and investor reporting.

- Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and tax frameworks relevant to gaming and digital businesses.

- Lead, mentor, and grow a high- performing finance team with strong cross- functional alignment.

Qualifications & Skills Required:

- CA/CMA/CPA/MBA (Finance) or equivalent professional qualification.

- More than 12 years of progressive experience, with 3- 5 years in a leadership role.

- Strong knowledge of Indian GAAP, IFRS, and global compliance frameworks.

- Prior experience in gaming, digital entertainment, or tech- led consumer businesses is a plus.

- Proven success in partnering directly with CXOs and driving strategic finance initiatives.

- Demonstrated ability to drive financial strategy, operational excellence, and cost efficiency in a high- growth environment.

- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to derive insights from data.

- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
