
- Responsible for delivering Business Impact by improving business processes, solving problems, and driving change management within the site.
- Help implement a culture of continuous improvement through "leading by example" and facilitating delivery of business impact/ results through facilitating/ training and coaching.
- Lead all BE Initiatives - 5S, TPM, Six Sigma & Lean; drive cost reduction/ value creation projects, identify new cost reduction opportunities year on year; facilitate project management involving all stakeholders; work closely with site team on data generation, validation, classification and analysis.
- Help in analyzing and monitoring norms, cost variance, key operational metric to ensure that they remain within budget.
- Liaison with site team and others functions/ business to get/ share weekly / monthly / quarterly report as per schedule & carry-out the primary analysis of data as per needs; participant in business & operational reviews
- Identify process efficiencies/ cost reduction opportunities in Utilities & drive energy/ water conservation projects through
- Lead cross-functional transformation programs across manufacturing, utilities, supply chain, QA, and EHS.
- Institutionalize a continuous improvement culture through structured capability building, coaching, and governance mechanisms - Work closely with external agencies & consultants as per requirements
- Drive adoption of digital tools for performance monitoring and predictive analytics
- Enable real-time KPI dashboards for plant performance (OEE, yield, energy, downtime)
- Leverage data analytics for root cause analysis and process improvements
- Work with IT/Corporate teams to implement Industry 4.0 initiatives
Qualification/Experience & Industry :
- B.E - Chemical [Preferably from Premier Institute like IIT, NIT, Govt. Engg. College]; MBA in Operations/ Finance will be an added advantage
- Experience of 8-20 years of experience in chemical / pharma (API) / specialty chemicals manufacturing
- Minimum 8-10 years in Business Excellence / Operational Excellence / Process Engineering / Technical Services roles.
- Demonstrated success in delivering large-scale cost reduction and process improvement projects in manufacturing environments - Strong exposure to plant operations, process engineering, utilities, and project engineering.
- Sound technical knowledge in TPM & Lean practices.
- Must be able to conduct training on business excellence concepts at all levels; sound knowledge on spend data classification & analysis, analysis of operating expense, project management.
- Certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt (preferred) - Preferable Organization to Source Candidate: Top Pharma (API) companies & Chemical business.
