The team focuses on developing and implementing the strategic vision for Operations. It includes three main pillars: Business Process Re-engineering, Operations Modernization and Business Transformation. In this role, you will help us implement our strategic vision through initiatives that help Operations attain the Target Organizational Structure, support the Business Transformation and modernize the processes and tools used. This role requires specific skills to design and build automation solutions. In this role you are uniquely placed to build solutions for Operations or leverage our partners in Technology by designing the process and requirements for a Technology implementation. Job responsibilities: - Solve Business Problems through Process Design, Technology solutions and Operations User Automation - Build tools that allow Operations to automate steps in a process or entire processes - Collaborate with other Operations super users to build business analytics tools - Design and understand business processes, so that automation efforts are focused on processes that are optimal. - Collaborate with Technology and Project teams to leverage funded Technology projects, where there are opportunities to implement a more effective and scalable Technology solution - Manage and prioritize initiatives that are requested by stakeholders, - Integrate the vision will all the Operations Departments: Credit, Onboarding, Tax and Investment Operations. - Solve Business Problems through Process Design, Technology solutions and Operations User Automation - Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives and deliverables. Required qualification, skills and capabilities: - Technical skills are a requirement in order to build solutions that will bring an immediate benefit to Operations Must have skills: Expert in Python and SQL. Proficiency in Alteryx, Xceptor, unqork, Uipath, tableau, Power BI and such AI tools are an added advantage. - Proven experience in business analysis and driving operational change/system development - Technical skills to support existing tools when there are production issues and enhancements - Strong knowledge of MS tools; Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, SharePoint - Understand the business process and ensure that process improvement initiatives are run in conjunction where required - Identify weaknesses in processes or tools to help steer the prioritization of Operations Transformation initiatives - Experience working with diverse teams and managing different stakeholders. - Project management experience is an added advantage. This role is instrumental in a new team in Operations that will help the group develop and implement its future vision for Operations and the Business.
