The Role:

Jellyfish Technologies is seeking a highly experienced and results-driven Senior Sales Manager to lead our Databricks Platform sales efforts.

This individual will be a critical member of our sales team, responsible for developing and executing a strategic sales plan to drive revenue growth and expand our market share for Databricks-related services and solutions.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the Databricks platform, a proven track record of selling complex data and AI solutions to enterprise clients, and a strong network within the industry.

This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, hands-on sales execution, and a passion for building lasting customer relationships.

Responsibilities:

- Strategic Sales Leadership: Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy for the Databricks platform, identifying key target accounts, market segments, and growth opportunities.

- Revenue Generation: Exceed sales targets by generating new business, upselling to existing clients, and driving a robust pipeline of qualified opportunities.

- Customer Engagement: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with C-level executives and key stakeholders in target organizations.

- Act as a trusted advisor, understanding client business challenges and positioning Jellyfish's Databricks solutions as the ideal solution.

- Collaboration: Work closely with our technical pre-sales, delivery, and marketing teams to create compelling proposals, SOWs, and presentations that align with client needs.

- Market Intelligence: Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and new features of the Databricks platform to maintain a competitive edge.

- Forecasting & Reporting: Accurately forecast sales pipeline and revenue, and provide regular reports on sales activities and progress against goals to senior management.

- Team Contribution: Mentor junior sales team members and contribute to the overall sales strategy and culture of the company.

Qualifications:

- Experience: 10-12 years of enterprise sales experience, with a significant portion dedicated to selling data, analytics, or AI-related solutions.

- Platform Expertise: Deep, hands-on understanding of the Databricks platform and its ecosystem (e.g., Lakehouse architecture, Delta Lake, Spark, MLflow).

- Experience selling professional services related to Databricks is a significant advantage.

- Communication & Presentation Skills: Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

- Ability to clearly articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and business audiences.

- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify client needs and craft tailored solutions.

- Relationship Management: Demonstrated ability to build and nurture long-term, strategic client relationships.

- Self-Starter: A highly motivated, self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

- Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Business, Marketing); Master's degree is a plus.
