Role Overview:

As a Relationship Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of Branch Relationship Managers (RMs), driving revenue targets, managing client portfolios, and ensuring superior service delivery across the branch. This role requires a mix of team management, client engagement, business development, and compliance adherence.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Team Management & Performance Monitoring

- Guide, coach, and supervise Branch Relationship Managers (RMs) to ensure individual and collective sales targets are met.

- Regularly track RM performance metrics (calls, meetings, conversions, AUM growth, etc.).

- Conduct weekly reviews, one-on-one mentoring, and sales huddles to improve performance.

- Motivate the team through effective communication, recognition, and performance incentives.

2. Client Acquisition & Relationship Management

- Conduct joint client meetings with RMs and high-value prospects to close deals.

- Build and maintain long-term relationships with HNI and retail clients by offering tailored financial solutions.

- Resolve client concerns or escalations with prompt and effective solutions.

3. Business Development & Revenue Generation

- Ensure consistent revenue generation across investment products:

- Mutual Funds (Lumpsum/SIP),

- Insurance (Life & General),

- Fixed Income Instruments (Corporate Bonds, NCDs),

- Unlisted Equity / Pre-IPO Shares.

- Identify market trends and emerging opportunities to devise branch-specific growth strategies.

- Assist in launching new products and promotional campaigns within the branch.

4. Product & Market Knowledge

- Keep abreast of industry developments, product innovations, and market trends.

- Train RMs on product features, competitor analysis, and effective client pitching techniques.

5. Compliance & Operational Excellence

- Ensure team adherence to regulatory guidelines, internal policies, and ethical standards.

- Verify KYC documentation and ensure compliance with SEBI, IRDA, and AMFI norms.

- Ensure proper recording of client interactions and transactions in CRM and backend systems.
