Job Description: Litigation Officer.

Job Title: Litigation Officer.

Job Summary:.

Jain Group is looking for an experienced Litigation Officer to handle legal disputes and litigation matters within the Real Estate and Hospitality sectors.

The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in litigation, with a strong background in legal research, case management, and court procedures.

Key Responsibilities:.

Case Management:.

Legal Representation: Represent the company in legal proceedings, including court hearings, arbitrations, and mediations.

Case Preparation: Prepare legal briefs, pleadings, and other court documents.

Conduct thorough legal research and gather evidence to support cases.

Strategy Development: Develop and implement effective litigation strategies to achieve favorable outcomes.

Coordination with External Counsel:.

Collaboration: Work closely with external legal counsel on complex litigation matters.

Provide necessary information and support to facilitate effective representation.

Cost Management: Manage legal costs and ensure efficient use of resources.

Negotiate fees and manage billing with external counsel.

Compliance & Risk Management:.

- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.

- Monitor legal developments and advise the management team on potential impacts.

- Risk Assessment: Conduct risk assessments and provide recommendations to mitigate legal risks.

- Develop policies and procedures to enhance compliance.

Reporting & Documentation:.

- Case Records: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all litigation matters, including case files, court documents, and correspondence.

- Reporting: Prepare regular reports on the status of litigation matters for senior management.

- Provide insights and recommendations for legal strategies.

Required Qualifications:.

- Educational Background: Degree in law or Working experience of over 5 years.

- Admission to the bar is preferred.

- Professional Experience: 3-5 years of experience in litigation, preferably in the real estate or hospitality sectors.

Skills:.

- Strong legal research, analytical, and writing skills.

- Excellent oral and written communication skills.

- Proficient in case management and court procedures.

- Personal Attributes: Detail-oriented, strategic thinker, and capable of handling high-pressure situations.

- Demonstrates integrity, professionalism, and a strong commitment to ethical standards.
