
Job Description:
Position: Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO)
Qualification: MBA - HR
Location: Vile Parle (E), Mumbai
Role & Responsibilities:
Strategic HR Leadership:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive HR strategy aligned with the company's growth and business objectives.
- Partner with the Chairman & MD and Executive Leadership Team on organizational design, workforce planning, succession planning, and leadership development.
- Lead HR transformation initiatives, including digitization and process optimization.
- Build a strong leadership pipeline to support business expansion.
Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning:
- Develop talent acquisition strategies for corporate, engineering, project management, and site-based roles.
- Ensure timely hiring of critical talent for ongoing and upcoming projects.
- Strengthen employer branding and campus hiring initiatives.
- Forecast workforce requirements based on project pipelines and business growth.
Leadership Development & Talent Management:
- Design and implement performance management and leadership development frameworks.
- Establish succession planning for key leadership and technical positions.
- Drive learning and capability-building programs for project and functional teams.
- Develop competency frameworks across all business functions.
Industrial Relations & Employee Relations:
- Lead industrial relations strategies across project sites and operational locations.
- Maintain positive relationships with employees and employee representatives where applicable.
- Resolve employee grievances and support harmonious workplace relations.
- Provide guidance during workforce restructuring and organizational change initiatives.
Compensation, Benefits & Rewards:
- Design competitive compensation and benefits programs aligned with industry benchmarks.
- Oversee annual compensation reviews, incentive plans, and executive compensation.
- Develop reward and recognition programs to improve employee engagement and retention.
HR Operations & Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with applicable labour laws, employment regulations, and statutory requirements.
- Oversee payroll governance, HR policies, employee records, and HR audits.
- Strengthen HR governance and risk management practices across all locations.
- Ensure compliance related to contract labour, social security, and regulatory reporting.
Organizational Culture & Employee Engagement:
- Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, safety, integrity, and continuous improvement.
- Drive employee engagement, communication, and wellness initiatives.
- Support change management during organizational growth and transformation.
HR Technology & Analytics:
- Lead implementation and optimization of HRIS and digital HR platforms.
- Develop HR dashboards and workforce analytics to support strategic decision-making.
- Monitor key HR metrics including attrition, productivity, hiring efficiency, and employee engagement.
Preferred Industry Experience:
- Candidates from Infrastructure, EPC, Construction, Roads & Highways, Railways, Metro, Airports, Energy, Power, Oil & Gas, Mining, Heavy Engineering or other large project-based organizations will be preferred.
