Description:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Export Sales Manager to spearhead international business development and export operations for our agricultural and leather product verticals. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in global trade, market expansion, and supply chain management, with a proven ability to drive revenue growth and manage complex export processes.

This role offers a unique opportunity to lead strategic initiatives, build key international partnerships, and ensure seamless execution of export operations aligned with global standards.

Key Responsibilities:

1. International Business Development:

- Identify, evaluate, and develop new markets, clients, and distribution networks across target geographies.

- Drive sales growth through strategic partnerships, trade alliances, and participation in international trade fairs.

- Formulate country-wise business plans and execute sales strategies to achieve export targets.

2. Strategic Sourcing & Procurement:

- Manage supplier networks and ensure timely procurement of agricultural and leather goods as per export demand.

- Negotiate commercial terms, quality parameters, and logistics arrangements with domestic vendors and global buyers.

3. Export Operations Management:

- Oversee end-to-end export processes including LC handling, export documentation (invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, shipping instructions, etc.), and customs compliance.

- Coordinate with CHA, freight forwarders, and shipping lines to ensure timely dispatch and delivery.

4. Client & Stakeholder Management:

- Maintain strong relationships with global clients, ensuring superior service levels, on-time delivery, and post-shipment support.

- Act as the primary liaison between internal teams, logistics partners, and international buyers.

5. Regulatory & Compliance Oversight:

- Ensure adherence to export documentation norms, trade regulations, and quality certifications.

- Liaise with government bodies, export promotion councils, and financial institutions for trade facilitation.

6. Market Intelligence & Strategic Reporting:

- Analyze international trade trends, pricing patterns, and competitive movements to inform business strategy.

- Prepare performance dashboards, forecasts, and MIS reports for senior management review.

7. Financial Management:

- Monitor payment terms under LC or other credit arrangements, coordinate with banks for documentation and remittances, and ensure timely realization of export proceeds.

Qualifications & Skills:

- Bachelors or Masters degree in International Business, Commerce, or a related discipline.

- 5-10 years of proven experience in export sales, trade operations, or international business development, preferably in agriculture or leather products.

- Strong understanding of Letter of Credit (LC) documentation, INCOTERMS, and international logistics.

- Excellent negotiation, communication, and cross-cultural relationship management skills.

- Proficiency in MS Office, ERP systems, and export documentation tools.

- Analytical mindset with the ability to identify opportunities and drive strategic decisions.

- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and globally integrated business environment.
