IT Project Manager - BFSI/Capital Markets Space

Role Overview:

The Project Manager will lead cross-functional teams to deliver technology projects in the BFSI/capital markets space. The role requires strong technical understanding, stakeholder management, and proven experience in Agile project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead end-to-end project management for software development and implementation projects.

- Define project scope, goals, deliverables, and timelines in collaboration with stakeholders.

- Manage project budgets, resource allocation, and risk mitigation.

- Coordinate with development, QA, DevOps, and business teams.

- Track progress using Agile tools (JIRA, Redmine, Confluence) and ensure timely delivery.

- Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.

- Ensure adherence to quality, security, and compliance standards.

- Prepare project documentation, status reports, and executive updates.

- Mentor and guide team members.

Required Skills & Experience:

- 10 - 14 years of experience in IT project management, with at least 3 years in BFSI/capital markets.

- Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile/Scrum methodologies.

- Experience managing teams of developers, testers, and DevOps engineers.

- Proficiency with project management tools: JIRA, Redmine, Confluence.

- Technical background in .NET, Java, or related technologies is a plus.

- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.

- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.



Preferred:

- PMP, Scrum Master, or similar certifications.

- Experience with cloud migration, DevOps, or cybersecurity projects.

- Exposure to regulatory and compliance requirements in BFSI.
