
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute effective sales strategies to meet and exceed sales targets within the assigned area.
- Identify, generate, and qualify leads through various channels including web research, referrals, existing customers, and cold calling.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and stakeholders in the territory.
- Understand customer needs, applications, and technical challenges related to analytical instruments.
- Present tailored product solutions, especially Optical Microscopes, demonstrating their benefits and application fit.
- Prepare and deliver detailed proposals and customized configurations addressing customer requirements.
- Conduct in-person and virtual presentations to prospects, showcasing product features and competitive advantages.
- Analyze competitor offerings and develop effective counter-strategies to position our instruments favorably.
- Provide actionable market feedback to leadership for continuous product and strategy improvements.
- Manage the complete sales cycle from lead generation to order closure.
- Follow up to ensure timely receipt of purchase orders and verify accuracy against customer requirements and quotes.
- Support after-sales service teams to ensure customer satisfaction and foster long-term relationships.
- Follow up diligently with customers to secure purchase orders (POs).
- Verify the accuracy of POs to ensure they align with the customer's application needs and our provided quotes.
Requirements:
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and build rapport at all levels.
- Technical understanding of analytical instruments and their applications is highly desirable.
- Ability to analyze customer requirements and craft tailored solutions.
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently within a designated sales
territory.
- Willingness to travel as needed within the assigned area.
