Business Analyst.

Location: Noida, UP (Onsite).

Type: Contract.

Overview:.

The Finance Transformation Sr. Business Analyst is a hands-on role responsible for driving comprehensive process evaluation, documentation, and redesign of Finance-specific processes and cross-functional business processes with financial implications.

This role focuses on assessing existing processes like Invoice-to-Cash and Procure-to-Pay, identifying inefficiencies and control risks, and leading structured pilot programs to validate process improvements through test design, data analysis, and evidence-based recommendations for enterprise-wide implementation.

The role requires 12-15 years of experience in financial process improvement and transformation, expertise in process mapping tools (Miro, Lucid, Visio, etc), and knowledge of financial control risks, compliance requirements, and process efficiency methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, etc.) The goal is to enhance efficiency, mitigate risks, and align processes with the company's systems and data strategies.

This position will collaborate closely with Finance, Business Systems, Data, and other cross-functional teams to deliver impactful transformation outcomes.

Responsibilities:

Process Evaluation, Documenting, & Redesign:.

- Assess existing Finance-specific processes and financial components of cross-functional processes (e.g , Invoice to Cash, Procure to Pay).

- Identify inefficiencies, control risks, and opportunities for improvement.

- Document and redesign processes to align with Finance Transformation objectives, improving efficiency and ensuring compliance with control and risk frameworks.

- Lead structured pilot programs to validate process improvement, including test design, execution planning, data collection and statistical analysis.

Collaboration Across Teams:.

- Partner with key stakeholders within the finance function to align process improvements with financial goals.

- Work closely with the Business Systems and Data teams to gather requirements for process and system changes, ensuring alignment with system capabilities.

- Support the development and implementation of new policies and procedures resulting from process enhancements.

Support for Finance Transformation Roadmap:.

- Contribute to the execution of the Finance Transformation Roadmap by driving initiatives that align with strategic goals.

- Ensure finance process redesign aligns with broader transformation efforts and company objectives.

Project Management:.

- Lead or support light project management activities, including tracking deliverables, managing timelines, and communicating updates to stakeholders.

- Ensure that initiatives stay on track and meet deadlines.

Basic Qualifications:.

12-15 years of experience with financial process improvement and transformation initiatives.

Expertise in process mapping tools and concepts (e.

, Miro, Visio) with demonstrated ability to create high-level overviews, detailed processes/workflows, and narratives.

Knowledge of financial control risks, compliance requirements, and process efficiency methodologies (e.g, Lean, Six Sigma).

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including the ability to clearly explain complex financial concepts and processes to colleagues outside of finance in an easily understandable manner.

- Strong understanding of data and finance systems (ERP, CRM, etc.) and the ability to gather and translate system requirements.

- Demonstrated ability to manage projects with a focus on delivering results.

- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications:.

- Certification in process improvement methodologies such as Six Sigma or Lean.

- Experience in supporting finance transformation initiatives.

- Experience with Establishing and monitoring Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to drive operational efficiency and service excellence.

- Expertise in ERP systems (e.g , NetSuite, SAP, Oracle) and financial technology tools.

- Experience with AI and automation tools for process documentation, analysis, and improvement (e.g , AI-powered workflow solutions, automation platforms, digital assistants).

- 8-10 years' experience in finance, accounting, or financial systems implementation.

- Project management PMP or Agile certification.

- CPA, MBA, or related advanced degree.

- General understanding and knowledge of US GAAP.
