Position Details :

Position : Production Manager

Department : Production

Reporting To : DGM / VP Operations

Location : Sharjah, UAE

Job Purpose :

To lead and manage the entire production function, ensuring high-quality output, cost efficiency, safety compliance, and on-time delivery while driving continuous improvement initiatives across operations.

Key Responsibilities :

Production Planning & Scheduling :

- Develop and implement effective production schedules.

- Optimize manpower, machine utilization, and production resources.

- Coordinate with Supply Chain, Quality, and Maintenance teams.

Operations Management :

- Supervise day-to-day production activities.

- Monitor productivity and minimize downtime.

- Maintain accurate production records and reports.

Quality & Compliance :

- Ensure adherence to quality standards and customer requirements.

- Enforce safety procedures and environmental compliance.

People Management :

- Lead, train, and motivate production teams.

- Manage workforce planning, attendance, discipline, and performance.

Continuous Improvement :

- Drive Lean Manufacturing and 5S initiatives.

- Implement productivity improvement and cost-reduction projects.

Required Skills & Competencies :

- Strong leadership and decision-making abilities

- Expertise in manufacturing processes and production systems

- Hands-on knowledge of machinery, quality systems, and process improvement

- ERP and production planning experience

- Excellent communication and team management skills

- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities

Education & Experience :

Qualification : Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical, Automotive, Industrial Engineering, Production Engineering or related field

Experience : 8 - 15 years in manufacturing/production, including at least 3 years in a managerial role

Preferred Industries : HVAC, Automotive, Electronics, Engineering Manufacturing, or related sectors

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) :

- Achievement of production targets

- Reduction in downtime and rejection rates

- Compliance with quality and safety standards

- Improvement in OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness)

- On-time delivery performance

Compensation & Benefits :

Annual Salary :

- AED 120,000 - 144,000 (In-hand) (INR 31.20L~37.44L)

- Annual Performance Incentive : AED 30,000 36,000 (Up to 25%) (INR 7.8L~9.36L)
