Role Overview & Organizational Impact :

- This role plays a critical part in enabling the company's revenue engine by ensuring seamless, compliant, and risk-mitigated execution of leasing transactions across the portfolio. As a key member of the Legal - Leasing function, the incumbent will partner closely with the leasing and business teams to structure, negotiate, and close transactions efficiently.

By ensuring robust documentation, clear title verification, and adherence to statutory requirements, this role directly contributes to:

- Faster deal closures and improved turnaround time

- Minimization of legal and commercial risks

- Strengthening client confidence and contractual clarity

- Enabling scalable and standardized leasing processes across locations

Key Responsibilities :

Leasing Transaction Management:

- Support end-to-end execution of leasing transactions across projects on a PAN India basis

- Draft, review, and finalize lease agreements and associated legal documentation

- Assist in commercial and legal negotiations with clients to achieve balanced outcomes

Due Diligence & Compliance:

- Verify property titles, ownership documents, statutory approvals, and compliance requirements

- Ensure adherence to applicable laws, including stamp duty and registration processes

- Liaise with relevant authorities for timely registration of lease documents

Stakeholder Management:

- Collaborate closely with internal leasing teams, external legal counsel, and clients

- Provide timely legal inputs to facilitate decision-making and deal closure

Process & Documentation:

- Maintain accurate and organized records of all leasing-related documentation

- Ensure adherence to internal SOPs and legal processes

- Support the Leasing Head - Legal in driving transaction closures and process improvements
