Role Overview:

The Associate Director of Finance & Accounts will serve as a key leader within the finance function, overseeing critical financial operations, reporting, and strategic planning. This role involves close collaboration with senior leadership, department heads, and external auditors to ensure fiscal integrity and operational excellence. By driving financial rigor and process improvements, the incumbent will play a pivotal role in supporting the airlines growth trajectory, ensuring that financial data translates into actionable insights for business decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the end-to-end financial accounting and reporting processes to ensure compliance with statutory requirements and internal financial policies.

- Manage complex financial audits and coordinate with regulatory bodies to maintain the highest standards of transparency and corporate governance.

- Oversee the preparation of financial statements and management reports to provide the leadership team with accurate insights into business performance.

- Drive the implementation of robust financial controls and process optimizations to enhance operational efficiency across the finance department.

- Partner with cross-functional teams to manage budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning, ensuring alignment with the companys broader financial objectives.

- Mentor and develop a high-performing team of finance professionals to foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

Required Skillset:

- Demonstrate deep expertise in financial accounting, taxation, and regulatory compliance within a large-scale, fast-paced corporate environment.

- Exhibit strong leadership capabilities with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and manage complex, multi-disciplinary teams effectively.

- Possess advanced analytical skills to interpret financial data, identify trends, and provide strategic recommendations that impact the bottom line.

- Communicate complex financial concepts clearly to non-finance stakeholders, facilitating informed decision-making across the organization.

- Maintain a professional qualification such as CA or CPA, complemented by 10 to 18 years of progressive experience in finance and accounts.

- Adapt seamlessly to the dynamic, high-pressure environment of the aviation industry, working on-site at the Gurgaon corporate office to drive collaborative outcomes.
