The GM / DGM - Academics will be responsible for designing, structuring, and continuously enhancing curricula across multiple professional programs, while ensuring alignment with examination requirements, learning outcomes, and industry standards.

The role demands complete ownership of academic quality, mentoring of content and faculty teams, and driving excellence in student-centric, outcome-driven learning materials across all delivery formats.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead end-to-end curriculum and content development for professional commerce programs such as CA, CMA, CS, ACCA, and related courses.

- Design, review, and approve curriculum frameworks, learning outcomes, course structures, and academic roadmaps.

- Ensure timely creation and delivery of all academic content including study materials, presentations, assessments, question banks, LMS modules, and revision content.

- Work closely with faculty, Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), instructional designers, and academic teams to maintain academic depth and teaching effectiveness.

- Incorporate exam pattern changes, syllabus updates, and learner feedback into curriculum and content revisions.

- Establish and enforce content quality benchmarks, review mechanisms, and academic governance processes.

- Mentor faculty and content teams on teaching methodologies, content structuring, and academic best practices.

- Ensure consistency, clarity, and academic rigor across all programs and content formats.

Skills & Competencies Required

- Strong expertise in curriculum design and academic content development for professional programs.

- Proven experience as a faculty member, preferably in commerce or professional certification courses.

- Excellent written communication with strong conceptual and subject clarity.

- Strong academic planning and project management skills, capable of managing multiple programs simultaneously.

- Ability to structure, review, and quality-check content for accuracy and learner effectiveness.

- Understanding of instructional design and adult learning principles (added advantage).

- Effective coordination skills with cross-functional and academic teams.

- High attention to detail and uncompromising quality standards.
