Position Overview :


Responsible for Planning and execution of day-to-day and period-end Treasury activities including managing the company's cash flow forecast, identifying cost-saving and profit maximizing opportunities and ensuring compliance with company's investment policy to maximize the protection of the company's assets.


Also responsible for handling diversification initiatives from finance side. He / She will be managing the acquisition / takeover proposals, which includes due diligence, financial modelling etc. Will be also managing market research and planning. Investment in various funds like Mutual Funds, Tax Free Bonds, Commercial Papers, Corporate Bonds, Bank FDs, INVITS etc. is close to 1500 Crores.


Key Responsibilities :


Investment of Surplus Funds :


i. Oversee investment of surplus funds in various instruments like Mutual Funds, Tax Free Bonds, Commercial Papers, Corporate Bonds, Bank FDs, INVITS etc.


ii. Ensuring maximum returns from the invested funds.


- MIS to Management & Investment Committee :


i. Prepare detailed treasury MIS for senior management/investment committee on regular basis.


Diversification Initiatives :


i. Oversee the diversification initiatives across various industries, asset types, and geographic locations post due diligence to manage risks.


ii. Develop and implement strategies to diversify revenue streams


Strategic Growth / Acquisitions :


i. Drive acquisition transactions, divestitures, joint ventures, and new market expansion, including valuation and due diligence.


Financial Modelling :


i. Develop and maintain sophisticated corporate finance models, including scenario planning for expansion efforts.


Cash and Liquidity Management :


i. Manage daily cash positioning, cash flow forecasting, and ensure optimal liquidity to meet operational needs and capital investment requirements.


ii. Minimize idle funds and maximize interest revenue through effective cash concentration and investment strategies.


Financial Accounting :


i. Understands the Financial Accounting System.


ii. Ensure accurate and timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.


iii. Maintain strong financial controls and accounting policies.


iv. Managing Audits.


Required Candidate Profile :


- Hands-on experience in maintaining & investing funds (e.g., 1000 Crore+).


- Deep understanding of various investment products and risks associated.


- Proven track record of handling diversification initiatives and acquisitions.


Key Competencies :


- Ability to lead and mentor a team of professionals.


- Strong communication skills to deal with external & internal stakeholders.


- Strong Analytical Skills and ability to analyze complex financial data and market trends.
